The scientific staff work at the intersection of research and development, addressing questions related to energy economics, material flow and infrastructure, as well as economic, technical, social science, and environmental psychology issues.
The interdisciplinary team includes experts from fields such as economics and business administration, mechanical, civil, environmental, agricultural, and electrical engineering, as well as forestry, political and social sciences, environmental law, spatial and environmental planning, geography, psychology, biology, chemistry, and computer science.
The organisational division comprises of employees such as secretaries, human resources and controlling departments, public relations, IT, as well as special representatives for the works council, data protection, occupational health and safety, anti-corruption, and gender equality.
