PACT-H2
The transnational Interreg initiative PACT-H2 addresses the social, institutional, and governance dimensions of the hydrogen transition across the Greater Region (France–Belgium–Germany–Luxembourg). By bringing together partners from different countries and sectors, PACT-H2 aims to support coordinated and socially inclusive hydrogen strategies across the region.
Within the project, the Department of Environmental Psychology at IZES co-leads Work Package 3 (WP3) on social acceptance. The department contributes to the analysis and understanding of the dynamics of public perception and social acceptance of hydrogen technologies in the Greater Region. The objective is to generate evidence-based insights that can support effective communication and stakeholder engagement strategies for the hydrogen transition.
More specifically, IZES will be involved in the following activities:
- Examining social acceptance in selected hydrogen case studies
- Assessing awareness-raising measures
- Supporting external communication and stakeholder engagement, contributing to the dissemination of the results
